Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
We often want to accomplish so much so quickly that our efforts become unfocused and chaotic, which is not smooth; therefore, it is slow... if it happens at all.
There is a time and a place for unabashed, chaotic, frenetic energy.
But most of the time, it comes back to the Zen proverb:
Chop wood, carry water.
Do the work and trust the process so that both the process and the work become a part of you.
